Why printing costs more
A printed letter has to be printed and mailed when the time comes, which may be decades from now. Postage costs may rise, but we will not decline to send your letter for want of a stamp. An address can go stale in that time, so once a year we will ask you to confirm the one on a printed letter is still right.
Before you buy
Sealed means sealed
Once a letter is sealed, its words cannot be changed, and neither can the person it is for. You can delete it, and you can keep their address current, but writing something else means writing another letter.
