Shipping and returns

For the shop, not for letters

This page covers the shirts and goods in our shop — physical things that have to be made and posted. A letter is a different product with different terms, and those are in the terms of service.

Printed to order

Nothing in the shop is held in stock. Each piece is printed by our printing partner after you order it, which is why there is no warehouse here and nothing left over at the end of a season. It also means every item is made for one person, and that is what shapes the rest of this page.

Shipping

Printing takes a few working days before anything is handed to a carrier. The delivery estimate shown at checkout covers both that and the time in transit, and the shipping cost and any tax are shown to you there, before you pay.

Please check the address before you confirm it. A parcel sent to an address with a mistake in it comes back to the printer, and sending it out again has to be paid for again — it is the one part of an order we cannot quietly put right afterwards.

Damaged, misprinted, or faulty

If a piece arrives damaged, misprinted, or faulty, write to us with your order number and a photograph of the problem. We will have a replacement made and sent, and it costs you nothing. There is no deadline on this — the sooner you tell us the sooner you have the right thing, but we are not going to start counting days at you.

You do not need to send the original back. Posting a misprinted shirt across the country helps nobody — keep it, pass it on, or use it as a rag. We would rather spend the postage on your replacement.

If it never arrives

The same applies to a parcel lost on the way. Tell us it never came and we will have it made and sent again.

Wrong size, or a change of mind

These we cannot take back, and we would rather say so plainly than bury it. Because each item is printed for you specifically, there is no stock for it to return to: a returned shirt cannot be sold to anyone else, so a return would mean throwing it away and charging someone for the privilege. Every product page carries its measurements. Please read them before you order, and if you are between two sizes, write to us first — we would rather answer a question than send you the wrong thing.

Getting in touch

Write to us with your order number, and a photograph if something is wrong with the item. We read every message.
